Capacity Planning - Capacity is Read only

Have there been any updates or plans to provide the ability to update or change the capacity amount in the Capacity Planning tool?

There was interest shown a year ago regarding having the ability to load into the planner but nothing since.

We need to adjust the capacity because unassigned work is treated as a group, so that the capacity provided is not accurate,  because it currently only represents 1 user when we should show total capacity for 1 user per listed item. We pick or assign from the group or pool as users become available.
