Rich text on report

I have a report that contain a column showing a rich text field, Is there a way to wrap the text without extending the row height?  For example, the text would be a popup or something instead of wrapping the length of the screen for large free-text fields.
Alternatively is there a way to not wrap the text and have the same behavior of a plain text, showing the all content when pointing the mouse on it?
