Yes, side by side or 2 columns at least would be so convenient and user friendly
Ability to configure the layout of custom action variables into columns
It would be great if when we are creating custom actions that have multiple variables we are requiring instead of having them in a list format we had the option to display those left to right in either 2 or 3 columns thus improving our user experience.

Another vote for this. We use a custom action to create a form for quickly raising new bug cases and the number of fields is just enough to require the users to scroll up/down or possibly miss out on important detail. Even a simple "display in 2 columns option" would be a quick way of making sure all the required user inputs for the action are all visible without scrolling.
HI Clarizen team,
I wanted to bring this up again as this is really becoming a user experience issue. The details that are required in custom actions can sometimes be very lengthy, this makes users have to scroll down the page and miss things. This is not a great user experience and from an admin perspective it would be better if we could put these longer customer actions into columns and help improve that experience.
Yes, this, do this thing.
This is definitely a feature that is needed, as per previous comments it is a simple way to prevent users having to scroll or potentially missing items.
We have the same requirement as extensively use custom actions to produce user input forms for various inputs (e.g. Demand submission, Reporting etc.). At present it is only possible to have a single column of fields, which results in potentially lengthy forms, or large amounts of whitespace.
We would like to be able to have multiple columns and control the layout similar to the property panel on other objects (i.e. have up to 3 columns wide, with the ability to suppress a column by entering a blank space)
