We are running into an issue where there's a maximum of 512 characters in the "Description" field. We are getting this error: "Maximum characters allowed 512 has been exceeded"
Can that be increased? I saw a post that indicates it is 1600 characters, and there was a feature request (CR-234866) to increase it to 3200 or remove it altogether. What is the status of that?

Hi Doug, what action are you doing that is triggering a message regarding the 512 character limit? I believe the limit is larger, but there is a constraint on how large the field can be for certain actions (integrations, forms, etc.)
Hey Josh, we are just trying to paste plain text into that field. I just tried again, and NOW it is telling me the limit is indeed 1600. Perhaps that was just a glitch yesterday?

Whoops...spoke too soon. It's telling me the limit is 512 characters for the Description field on a Customer card, but 1600 on a Project, Milestone, or Task card.
