Organisation Setting

You bring up some valid points, which I will respond to below:

Q: Would it be true to say that a user name can belong to only one organisation?

A: Yes. Your user name is associated with ONE Clarizen organization although you may be doing projects for multiple organizations from within that one Clarizen org.

Q: If True then this would imply that:

* a single real person would have to have multiple user names if he / she works on projects across multiple organisations.

* a single real person would not be able to look across all tasks in all organisations assigned to him / her at one time.

A: Not necessarily so. Again, this depends on the nature of projects being handled across organizations and may be able to be accomplished within one Clarizen account using the External User feature.

Q: A natural system constraint is that if a large organisation with operations in many countries uses the software, each country's projects would be separate.

A: Actually many global organizations are using Clarizen across their sites. The nature of the projects and the user permissions need to be better understood to determine if one Clarizen org is sufficient or multiple. Often, one is enough.

Q: Would it be true to say that a user name can belong to only one organisation?

A: Yes.

Looking forward to your response.
