Hi Monica,

If I understand correctly, you're asking if it's possible to create a document from within Clarizen.  This is not currently possible but you can certainly create your document outside of Clarizen and upload it to any Work Item or Issue.

How long and complicated are your release notes?  Perhaps you can post them using the "Note" object from within Clarizen if they are relatively simple. Otherwise I would recommend either uploading the release notes like Rob suggested above or linking them from either Google Docs or Box.
