email signature

I understand the regular email signature can be setup at user level. My question is that the system adds things like "thank you!" by default to all the emails which I want to remove. How do I do that?

It is just should be there by default as not in all situation that is the proper ending.

Sorry, I meant "it should NOT be there by default" in the post above.

The plan is to make all of these editable in the future, but currently most of these emails are not configurable.  Can you provide an example of one that may use "Thanks!" inappropriately?

Josh, for example when the email content is in a frustrated tone or questioning tone (which happens all the time in reality), it is not likely to have a "Thanks!" as the end of the email content. Do you agree?

First off completely agree.  However, I was confused as to your request because "Thanks!" does not get added for me when I send emails.  I thought you were referring to some sort of system generated email.  But then I logged into V5.4 to test it there and "Thanks!" was indeed added automatically.

So the good news is your request is already implemented in V6. Did you already schedule your upgrade?

Josh, that sounds good.

I am planning to upgrade Jan. 2014.
