how can I filter my tasks only to show the lowest level task

In My Tasks I am being shown both parent and child tasks.

How can I filter to only show the child tasks - as these are the tasks that, when completed, will complete the parent task.

Thanks,

Rob

Hi, Rob.

I suggest you add the field 'reportable' to your filter and toggle 'yes'.

This way, you'll only see reportable items.

When you have a subtask, by default reporting will be allowed on the subtask level as opposed to the parent (unless you've changed it manually in which case you'd want to see the parent task anyway)

Please give it a try

Hi Rob

Adding the reportable filter excludes all items

I tried only having the reportable filter set to yes and still no tasks displayed

I’ll have a look at the help files when I’m over later

Thanks

Hi Jonathan,

Looks like it didn't quite work.

I will review with Gavin later to double confirm.

Thanks,

Rob

You can add "# of direct sub items" as a filter (set this to 0). Just go to filters, click manage, and add that as an optional fielter. This will guarantee only the lowest level in your hierarchy will be shown.
