This is what we have To do lists for.
To do lists are a type of task which does not belong to a particular project.
It may be administrative work, a personal task, a task for my department etc.
You need only go to the navigation bar and select New - Task.
You will be made a manger of it, and don't have to input work, or a due date.
You will find it in your tasks, if you select the 'all time' filter. As of our upcoming FR on the 9th of February, you'll see to do lists in the 'today' and similar options as well.
These can be made reportable and you may enter timesheets on them.
