Project Visibility

I'd like to confirm who has visibility to any given project, and how I go about setting that?

Ideally it would simply be resources, and project managers that have visibility to a project (so if there are other projects for which a given resource HAS NOT been assigned to - they would not have visibility).

I believe the above is the case, but wanted to confirm.

Thanks,

-Marcia

It depends on whether you are using basic or enhanced permissions.  With basic permissions, any user can see any project (except for external, social, and email usesrs).  With enhanced permissions turned on, only super users, project managers, managers, resources, and reviewers assigned to that project will be able to see that project.

Ok great - how do I set the permissions for my users? I'd like to ensure all are set to enhanced permissions based on your description above.

Thanks,

Settings >> System Settings >> Organizations, Users, Licenses >> Setting 7.21 "Permission Level"

All you need to do is change the dropdown from Basic to Enhanced and you will be all set!
