Task Complete ?100%

There have been instances in the Outlook add-in where completed tasks show a "?" beside % complete, even though it's 100%. I understand this is because even though the task is marked complete by the resource, the Project Manager still needs to mark the state as complete.  Does this apply to all tasks?  Can this feature be removed? Maybe I misunderstand, but I am not sure why a Project manager has to mark state complete when the resource already says 100% complete.

If a user marks something at 100%, it should automatically be completed unless you have some sort of customization that would prevent this.  I would open a support ticket for further investigation.

We have also had this problem recently and wonder if there is any reason why.

Our issue is taking place not in the Outlook Add In but in the Project itself.  Work items, Projects, Milestones, etc are showing 100? on the line item and they are not marked complete.

This can occur if the Work Item was completed and then reopened and the %Complete still states 100%, since this "confuses" the system, it puts a ? to let you know there is something wrong. This will show up at the Project/Milestone because it is a rollup field and coming from the child task that has a ?. You need to better explain what steps where taken to close out the task.

Also, this may require further investigation which would require a ticket. Please open a ticket and add the required screen captures or video recording showing the issue.

Sincerely,

Boris
