Outgoing e-mail attachments

Is there any way I can attach a file to an e-mail sent from Clarizen (or, subsequently send an e-mail that will end up both to a customer and attached to a specific task in Clarizen)?

You can't attach files to outgoing emails yet, but you can send an email to a customer from your standard email client and CC an interact email box that will attach the email to a specific object (such as a task) in Clarizen.

So I am guess this is by a custom InterAct rule? There is no standard for this?

Unfortunately if you use the InterAct rule for attaching e-mail in this manner, there are two adverse effects when the recipient responds if they are not a licensed Clarizen user. (1) the response is not attached to the entity and (2) the recipient/respondent will receive an error e-mail from InterAct saying "Original sender of message was not found."

This sounds like a bug. Is this getting looked at? The issue I have is it's not an attachment to the email it is a logo in the signature that gets viewed by the system as an attachment.

Any images in your email will be added as attachments; however, you can use system setting 10.8 to exclude small images such as those found in your signature.

Thanks Josh. I have my system setting set to the default but still have run into the issue. When I get a chance I will add more details to this comment.
