How can I add a project to the Basic View? (existing project)

I have a project and a sub-project.

The Basic View shows only the Top Project.

How can I add the sub-project to the view?

Thanks,

Arnon

Hi Arnon,

See screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/bjpmUBhLN5.

It is likely related to a filter "Show only top level items" in place. To clear the filter >> Navigate to the filter icon >> uncheck Show only top level items >> Save as default  >> and you should be all set :-)

We have a great article in place about filtering in Clarizen,. please find more info here: http://usermanual.clarizen.com/#2-2-4-5-searching-and-filtering.

For further clarification, hop on our Intermediate Q&A webinars. These are great resources for visual answers to your questions and free consulting with our experts ( to register> http://www.clarizen.com/live-demo.html#second).

Thank you,

Diana

Hi Diana,

You were right, the problem was the filter.

As a suggestion, I think the default presentation should be unfiltered.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Arnon

The reason why this filter is there by default is to reduce clutter and prevent redundancy. You will only see the highest level projects that you have permission to access instead of seeing both parent projects and multiple levels of subprojects that are inside the parent projects. Plus, keep in mind you can always use the global search to quickly pull up any project or any other object in the system (power user tip: press Alt+N and start typing, it's the fastest way to search)
