Local currency on custom currency field

Ive got a custom field of type 'currency' that is only showing options for USD. We do have multiple currencies turned on. Is there some other setting that will allow for local currencies for this field?

Hi Christopher,

To enable multiple currencies, you need to go to "Settings" then type in "Currencies" in the search field. You should be able to edit the currencies field. Please see attached for reference.

You would then be able to add the currencies being used by your company alongside the exchange rate for each currency.

Sincerely,

Tom

Yes, multiple currencies is enabled. I have a custom field in Requests that is of type "currency" (as opposed to text or numberic or whatever). I would expect that field to support multiple currency types, but all it allows is USD. There is no currency drop down like on the other currency fields.

Hi Christopher,

This is different from enabling multiple currencies.

You would need to edit the "Currencies" as show in the screenshot. Please take note that it is the "Currencies" and not "Currency" that has the edit button. After clicking "Edit", you would then be able to add the currencies you need.

Please refer to my screenshots attached.

I think we are talking about two different things - see the attached screen shots.

1 - the custom field of type 'currency'

2 - the field in use, which is US only

Hi Christopher,

We are actually looking at the same thing. However, you are correct that the field cannot be changed to other currencies. It seems like it only happens when you add the custom field to "Requests." We have opened up an internal request to get this resolved. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!
