How is it that I can Group by Customer Name in a report but I am unable to find a method to use "Customers" in a chart on the X or Y axis?

I would be happy to help. Could you provide a screen capture or explain how you are creating the Report/Graph to show data and what you are trying to accomplish? This will help me find a solution for you.
I am trying to create a graph that would total Project Values by Customer. So I am reporting on Customers & the related data is Projects. My filters are Customer State & Billable Projects.
The y-axis allows me to check for # of Customers but the x-axis has a very limited selection and customers or customer name is not one of them.

I've received the following from Product:
Text in chart axis will be available in Hot Fix 39, currently scheduled for Apr 12. Multi pick list and relation (Customer field) in a axis is targeted to HF 40 or HF 41. These hot fixes are planned in the next 1-2 months.
Note that dates can change at Product's discretion to insure quality, stability, and security.
