Looking to remove a user from the automatic updates emails

Hi guys,

Whenever a task is updated there is a user that is constantly receiving the updated emails. This person doesn't need to receive these emails. How do i remove this user from the automatic updated emails?

Hi Matt,

Could you please attach a screenshot of the email that you would like the user to stop receiving? I'll need to determine if this is a standard system email or if it is a customization that triggers the email.

HI Vanessa,

Please find the screenshot attached.

A recent employee has left which their tasks have been forwarded to another email address. I need to change the email address where the past employees tasks are getting forwarded to.

e.g. All Task assigned to Meghan to be changed to someone else

I hope that makes sense

Matt, 

Based on the email, it looks like you have a workflow rule in place that sends an email when a work item is updated. This email is being sent to either the resources, Manager(s) or both. This means that Meghan is either a Resource on the Task, the Manager of the Task or the Project Manager/Manager of the Project that the Task 'Add Tracking Codes to Product Links' pertains to. If Meghan had time entries you will not be able to remove her but you can do a Replace Resource. Also, if you change the email address of the Meghan Odum user then the emails will not reach the destination (i.e. fake_email@test.com) or you can specify your own email so that you receive them so that you can see where you need to make adjustments to remove or replace Meghan.

Matt, 

Go to Setttings --> Configure --> <Name of Workflow Rule>. You will need to find the correct Rule and Edit it.
