Updated chat feature
The current alert for new messages through chat isn't very noticeable. It would be nice to upgrade the chat feature to be similar to Facebook chat. When a new message comes in, it will pop up at the bottom of the screen automatically. If you aren't actively viewing that screen, the tab name blinks notifying you that there is an active message.

Not sure if it helps to get this feature request happening sooner but I wholeheartedy agree - at this point the chat function is pretty useless to me as the team I want to chat to have clarizen open but are working on other documents above their browswer window - they never see me chat with them! I work remotely from the team and would really love to see the chat function change to pop up discreetly (without disappearing) when I chat with someone - it would also be awesome to be able to include more than one person in a chat - take a look at Lync as an example for their chat functionality!

So has this ever been implemented?
People send chat, but no one reads them or even notices the alert; so then we go back to Lync, Skype, RingCentral trying to "notify" people.
Worse, people "hide" from these other systems, because they DO NOT want to be intercepted and Clarizen is the ONE place where we can "tag" contractors, employees, etc about timesheets and whatnot.
So the chat notification needs to be a popup, chat head, blinking alert, etc but something more "noticeable"...
