Activities Today - manage columns

It would be nice to add the ability to manage the columns shown in the activies today windows.  For instance, for new notes, I'd like the ability to add the name of the work item in which the note was added.  As of right now, I have to click on the note to browse to the details.

Tori,

So that the Product team is clear on your needs, could you provide some screen captures showing what you are looking to change and where?

Sincerely,

Boris Krutiy

Tori,

Could you provide me a detailed description, with screen captures showing what you would like to see/have?

Katie,

It would be great if we can get a use case (what are you looking to remove or to add to this list) and why.

Hmm...my reply via Outlook didn't show.  Also, it appears you replied to the wrong string to a Katie.

For new items under ‘activities today’ menu, allow different columns to be added.  For instance below, having the related work item in which the email is attached to would help identify the context of the email.

This is actually possible, but in order to change the columns you have to go to Settings >> Layout, pick and object, and edit the search results. This will impact the "activities today" items.

I was able to modify for posts and files.  How do I do the same for email messages?

Good point, I don't think you can do this for email yet.

Tori,

If email was added, what would you want to see?

The work item in which the email was attached to would be the biggest thing.
