Project List Default Active Field

When entering the Projects view, the default field for editing is the first project under the Name column. Go to the Projects module, hit any key on the keyboard and you will have renamed the first project in the list. I have often edited this project's name without meaning to do so. Since there is no "undo" this default setting is quite frustrating. The vast majority of the time I need to search the project list; we have over 90 projects active at all times. Can the default be changed to be the search entry box? It's very risky with this configuration as is.
