Remove the necessity to accept or having to wait 5 sec when moving a task

Is it possible to disable the pop-up that ask to confirm if "Are you sure you want to move this?" when moving a task. After 2 years as user in Clarizen, we should be able to work fast and not having to wait 5 sec or confirm every move that we do.

Vincent,

We understand your desire to speed up the process bu this step is crucial. It provides you the ability to UNDO the operation in case a mistake is made (i.e. moved to incorrect location). If you do not want to wait the time, simply click on OK at the top or hit the ENTER key to confirm the move. This should allow you to speed up your moves.

I hope that this helps.

Sincerely,

Boris

I wonder what the big fuss is with moving tasks/why the confirmation is necessary. You can always just move it back?

Hi Peter and Vincent,

I totally understand where you are coming from. From your point of view, you want to move fast around the project and not need to spend the additional 5 seconds per move. Also, it is true that you can move the work items back to where they were. However, from what Boris mentioned, this is to prevent users to accidentally moving work items to somewhere they do not remember. When users makes this mistake, they tend to not know where the items have been moved to and that is why we have implemented this 5 second warning. Any case, I believe that this should be governed by the local admin of the environment to determine if they want this preventative measure or not. I have gone ahead and opened a case so the admin of the environment would have the ability to turn this on/off somewhere in the settings. The request # is CR-239960.
