The ability to upload, download and collaborate with files is a fantastic feature of Clarizen's collaborative ecosystem.
But this great functionality also entails a potential security breach:
It is possible to upload classified files onto Clarizen from within the secure corporate network and then download them anywhere. Thus, it can become a means for getting classified information out.
On the other end, you could potentially and unintentionally upload a file that contains malware onto Clarizen and then download it into your organizations network.
Clarizen's current solution through the system settings is either:
1) Block any file attachment.
2) Allow only links (hyperlinks)
With both solutions you loose a lot of the collaboration functionality.
I am looking for another solution. A solution that will enable upload and download only from a designated list of approved sources. In this way we could limit the upload/download of files only to trusted/approved networks.

Hi Arnon,
What would the approved sources list be?
IP addresses/ranges?
Device IDs (not sure which parameter, but anyway)?
Specific Users?
Something else?
