Problems With Sharing Views

I created a few shared views for our project community and to my dismay they are not able to see the views unless they are logged in. Please explain?
NOTE that the view permissions are available to all within the project community.

Abby,

What do you mean by Project Community? is this a Profile or a Group? If this is a profile, you need to make certain that the views are available to the user's profile.

Hi Abby

Just want to check what your expectation was. Views are set up to set a specific layout of a screen in Clarizen, so that when you log in you will see the data represented to you based on the layout of the view. If you share a view with the users, they need to login and access the module and select the view.

You do have the ability to share content with users that do not have to log in. In order to achieve this, you need to click the Share button and then you can email them and choose the view that the content should be displayed in. They will get a link or an embedded widget in the email.

I hope that helps

Nicky,

Is it not so that if you customize a view (filters, etc.) and send a Share link to a Clarizen user, they will get the view with no filters, meaning the only way you can send a filtered view is as an anonymous view?
