Roll-up Fields

Is it possible to create a roll-up field for non-numeric values?

Example: A project request is submitted for multiple application areas: Lead area: Finance, Supporting areas: Marketing, Operations.

As the fields for Lead and Supporting areas already exists, I'd like to roll the data from both fields into one reportable field.

Hi Hana,

You can definitely create a custom roll up field. All you need to do is select Custom from the roll up options and use the filter to determine the roll up criteria (leverage TargetObject).
