update and template

Is the below still the only way to update and template?  We still can't go the actually template created see the details and update it?

 

When I have a simple change to make I have to create a new project from the existing template, make the changes, and then save it as a new template and then go back and delete the old one. Since we are getting up and running and trying to create the most efficient templates, I am doing this many times a day and it is very time consuming and confusing. Is this something that will be coming up in some upcoming releases?

That is not on the roadmap right now, but there is a shortcut of leaving a project open to represent a template. Lets say you have a project called "IT Project TEMPLATE" that is used for nothing else but making updates to that specific template. Every time you want to make an update, just go to the project and make your changes and then save over the old template. Then instead of deleting the project you can leave it open for future template changes.

Hi Clarizen team - Any updates on this improvement suggestion? It was submitted on 3/2016. Would be nice to be able to delete templates via the templates module.
