I would like to be able to run a report with a filter to include or exclude Recurring tasks.
Hi Reshma, you can do this by adding the filter "Item Type" is not equal to "Recurring Task." Item Type is the field that lets you see whether a work item is a task, recurring task, milestone, or project.

Hey Josh,
I tried this but it does not work. When saving, I get the error that I must select an item from the list, and the list does not have "Recurring Task" as an option.
Can you please submit a support ticket (and please send a screenshot as well). We may have to look into your account to investigate.
Is this still an accurate answer? I have recurring tasks in my work plan, but the item type shows as task.
