Adding Resource - Multiple Tasks

There is a way to copy all resources in a cell to all resource blocks in a task list. However, as you are able to add a single resource to one task without adjust the others already on that task, I need to be able to add a single resource to multiple tasks. As soon as you select more than one task, this function is grayed out, which seems odd, as this should/ needs to be possible. With a growing/changing company, resource assignments need to be simple to modify.

If there are no resources assigned or only one resource assigned that you want to swap out, you can copy and paste resources just like an Excel spreadsheet. You would make one assignment of the new resource, copy that cell (Ctrl+C), then select the cells you want to assign that resource to (can select as many as you need), then paste (Ctrl+V).

You are correct. However, in most cases there are multiple resources on each task, and they differ. However, many times I want to add a single resource to a series of tasks, all of which may currently have different sets of resources. This should operate just like the add resource button, which unfortunately grays-out when more than one task is selected.

You can use a custom action that will add a resource to multiple items (up to 20 lines I believe).
