Setting "Highlight Change" at a Global level

Hi,

Currently "Highlight Change" is off by default for projects and you can only turn it on when drilling to a specific project.

It would be good to have the ability to set "highlight change" on by default for all workplans at a global level.

A feature Request was already submitted and the ID is CR-248158.

Thank you

I'm looking for direction on how to complete this at a global level, but not seeing anything on the success site.  How is this accomplished?

Unfortunately this is not possible to set globally, only at the user level. However, we will add your org to this feature request.

Hi Josh - Not having the ability seems very restrictive.  Items like this that are full use-case beneficial, but buried in a gear icon menu must be available to be set at a global level.  For organizations whom have elected to turn off the 'Display the gear icon in views to allow users adding fields' toggle at all profiles other than admin, this makes adding critical functionality to the end user impossible.  Why is this required to be a feature request and not already part of core functionality?

The transparent answer is that all requests depends on a matrix of priorities (customer demand, effort required to implement, alignment with long-term strategic objectives, etc.). Over the past five years, we have only had three customers ask for the ability to globally set highlight changes. Meanwhile, we have some very exciting items on the near-future roadmap around financial management and resource management that have been asked for by hundreds of customers and significantly extend the value most companies will get with Clarizen.
