This depends on system settings. You will only get this information in the Related Resource Panel by showing the appropriate columns (% Complete, Actual Effort, etc) and if the Task 'Leaf Tasks Progress Reporting Policy' is set to Individual. Then % Complete at the Related Resource panel will update accordingly. if the mentioned setting is specified for Shared (default) instead of Individual, you will not get the same behavior.
