Scheduling Conflicts

We use recurring tasks frequently but sometimes add a task to the nested recurrence that conflicts with the start or end date of the recurring task set. This creates a schedule conflict. I would like to simply "dismiss" this conflict rather than adjust start/end dates of the recurrence. Is that possible and if so can you let me know how?

You can't dismiss scheduling conflicts, the only way to remove them would be to correct the scheduling logic. They only appear if an impossible scheduling situation occurs. If you do not find the conflicts useful, I would recommend removing the column from the view.

Is it possible to build a customization to dismiss them or is that very complex?  I ask because they are useful in some circumstances and in others are not useful.  It would be good to have the option to dismiss them on a case-by-case basis.

There is no customization that can be built that can dismiss these unfortunately.
