We have a file template that was updated using the "Replace File" button. Unfortunately it was on the wrong one and we are unable to track down the original. Thank you.

I've wondered about the versioning on these files also? (ie. if there is versioning, or if it's just a replacement) At our PMO I've had to implement a separate Document Management repository for versioning the File Templates becuase we were in a situation similar to this (thankfully we did find the template on another users local machine) Good luck finding it Devlend.
The original file isn't tracked right now. I would recommend linking to Google Apps or Box instead of using traditional file uploads if possible. The versioning with Google is fantastic, no need to replace files with newer versions.
