Is it possible to create a field which is one costume summary field divided by another summary field

I need to create a custom field that the formula inside of will be the sum of earned value divided by the sum of actual cost.

is it possible? because i cant get it to work

Yes, you should definitely be able to do this. Can you post a screenshot of the field?
